We are very proud to be shortlisted for five awards by the prestigious MamaMagic Parents Choice, Baby Essentials and Green awards. Our new Probiotic Baby Sensitive Body Cream and 100% Natural Insect Spray are finalists in both the Parents Choice category and Baby Essentials category. The Parents’ Choice category recognises the products that are most loved by the MamaMagic parents and families, while the Baby Essentials category looks at the entire range of products on the market for babies in all categories and recommends those it deems essential for a baby.
We have also been shortlisted in the Green category for our new Baby Massage & Bath Oil. The Green category recognises products with sustainable features, or which are made from sustainable materials.
The New Product Awards have become one of the most exciting and sought-after titles at the MamaMagic expo. They allow products the opportunity to shine in the spotlight on any new products that MamaMagic exhibitors have launched to the local South African baby and parenting market. The Awards look at a range of criteria such as design, functionality, usefulness, value-for-money and most importantly if the product was launched within 12 months of the date of the expo where the product is entered. These awards recognise and reward newly launched products in the pregnancy and parenting industry.
The judging process has experienced experts and moms, who test the product, view the packaging, display of product, descriptions and all criteria involving the ingredients that are formulated into these products. The role of the judges is to ensure that they select finalists based on unique features that make parents’ lives easy. Other judging criteria included good value for money, practicality, and ease of use, and items that help save busy parents time.
