The baobab fruit extract used in Pure Beginnings products, for example, is sourced ethically, fairly, and sustainably. This fair-trade community is passionate not only about the conservation of baobab trees, but about making a meaningful contribution to the livelihoods of rural people.
Pure Beginnings respects and values the world around us, and for this reason we ensure our products are all rapidly biodegradable and environmentally friendly. Our Sensitive Sun Cream is kind to coral reefs and water courses, as it contains no chemicals or ingredients that can cause disruption to the ecosystem of our waters. We are passionate about safe and healthy skincare, but at the same time we also carry a concern for the environment and the animal and sea-life that are affected by the harmful ingredients used in conventional skincare products.
Pure Beginnings products are proudly endorsed by Beauty Without Cruelty South Africa. All our products, as well as their ingredients, have not been (and never will be) tested on animals. This is audited by both BWC as well as Ecocert, who do not allow for animal testing of any individual ingredients or final cosmetic product used. We are accredited by the Vegan society and use botanical extracts and ingredients to create our products. We never use any animal products or by-products.
